Day 01: USA to Ireland
Evening departure from U.S. for our overnight flight to Ireland. Dinner is served shortly after departure
Day 02: Shannon - Killarney.
Morning arrival at Shannon Airport, where after clearing Irish customs we are met by our friendly driver/guide. Morning departure from Shannon Airport to Killarney. We travel via the old world village of Adare to our Killarney hotel. Free time to rest. Dinner and overnight in Killarney
Day 03: Killarney - Ring of Kerry - Killarney
Morning arrival at Shannon Airport, where after clearing Irish customs we are met by our friendly Celtic Tours driver/guide. Morning departure from Shannon Airport to Killarney. We travel via the old world village of Adare to our Killarney hotel. Free time to rest. Dinner and overnight in Killarney
Day 04: Killarney - Blarney - Cobh - Waterford
Leaving Killarney, we travel over the scenic Cork and Kerry mountains to Blarney where we pause for an optional visit to Blarney Castle, perhaps kiss the famed Blarney Stone or shop at the Blarney woollen Mills for knitwear, crystal and china at nearby Blarney Woollen Mills. We continue on, via Vork City, to the historic port town of Cobh, where we visit the Cobh Heritage Center, which documents the history of irish emigration and the stroies of the ill-fated super liners, The Lusitania and the Blefast built Titanic. We continue on to Waterford for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Waterford - Carlow - Dublin
This morning we visit Waterford's famed crystal factory, after which we depart for Dublin. Our route takes us through County Carlow, to Dublin City for a mid-day check-in to our hotel. Free time in Dublin to shop or browse. Evenin departure from our hotel for dinner and Irish entertainment at a renowned Dublin pub. Overnight in Dublin.
Day 06: St. Patrick's Day!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! After breakfast, we are transferred to the parade route where we can enjoy the festivities. Remainder of the day is free to browse, visit some of the famed Dublin pubs or visit the theatre. Overnight in Dublin.
Day 07: Dublin - Kildare - Limerick
Morning departure from our Dublin hotel. We travel via County Kildare, home of the Budweiser Irish Derby and the Irish National Stud Farm. We pause to visit the stud farm, where we can view the new born foals and enjoy a tour of the facility. Continue on via the market town of Nenagh in County Tipperary, to Limerick for overnight. Tonight we enjoy a farewell medieval castle banquet and entertainment at Bunratty Castle. Overnight in Limerick.
Day 08 - Shannon to USA
After breakfast, we have a leisurely departure for nearby Shannon Airport for our return flight home. Ample time allowed for last minute duty-free shopping before boarding our flight home. We arrive back in the U.S. the same day.
