Description: The Jalousie Hilton Resort and Spa is a secluded luxury resort spread over 325 lush acres of tropical forest. Unsurpassed for its natural beauty, the resort is resplendent with native fruit trees, including mango, banana, papaya, coconut, avocado, starfruit, soursop and hog plum. There are a wide variety of flowering shrubs including hibiscus; jasmine, bougainvillea, and oleander as well as the bright red ‘flamboyant tree” which attracts tiny iridescent humming birds. Location: Jalousie Hilton Resort and Spa, operated by Hilton International, is located on the quiet southwest coast of St. Lucia. The resort is just five miles from the historic town of Soufriere. Nestled on a hillside in the shadow of the majestic Petit and Gros Piton Mountains, the resort offers stunning sunset views of Jalousie Bay. Jalousie, was once the site of an 18th century Sugar Mill Estate, the remains of the original mill have now been integrated into the resort. The lush setting, one of the most dramatic in the Caribbean dips down to a quarter-mile stretch of secluded white sand beach. Transportation: Airlines serving St. Lucia include American Eagle, Air Jamaica (nonstop), USAir nonstop, as well as British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Condor, Air Liberty, LIAT, BWIA and Air Canada. Recommended service from either of the two airports to Jalousie is via helicopter, and it takes approximately eight to ten minutes. Helicopter service may be arranged by the hotel at a cost per person of $80 - $90.00 each way, (minimum two persons from Hewanorra, minimum three from George Charles Airport). Taxi service is also available. The resort is a 45 minute drive from Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort OR 1 hour from George Charles
Accommodation: The resort comprises a total of 112 rooms in Sugar Mill buildings, Villas and Villa Suites. All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mini bar, coffee maker, bathrobes, electronic safe, AM/FM clock radio, direct dial telephones with data port, TV with satellite reception and VCR. All bathrooms have bidets, hairdryers and make-up mirrors and some have private shower stalls.
Villas & Villa Suites: The resort features 64 Villas and 36 Villa Suites scattered on the tropical hillside. All offer spectacular views of the Piton Mountains and Jalousie Bay. The Villa Suites and Villas have a patio area and a private plunge pool. Most have a king-size bed and all have sleeper sofas. Villa Suites feature a separate sitting room. Our rooms accommodate up to three adults or a family of four.
Sugar Mill Buildings: There are two Sugar Mill buildings, each have six spacious guest rooms. All Sugar Mill Rooms have an expansive bedroom, either king-size or twin beds, a spacious bathroom and dressing room, sitting area and a private outdoor sun terrace. These rooms are close to the main building, pool, beach and restaurants.

Entertainment: On request, Jwen se Munla offers a relaxed atmosphere for nightly entertainment. Facilities include a billiard table a big screen TV, bar and dancing with music provided by the hottest local D.J’s. There are weekly theme parties, including one with a “Lucian Carnival” atmosphere and also an Italian theme! The General Managers reception takes place every Monday night. The Pier Restaurant features regular live entertainment.
Recreation: All non-motorised water sports are complimentary. Motorised sports and sports equipment are offered at a fee. On-site golf is available , all racquet sports, court times are complimentary; equipment is available for hire at the resort.

    Children: At the “Learning Centre” supervised activities for children include a three topic biology course, covering Volcanology, Marine Biology and the Rain Forest environment. Also available is painting, craft making, story telling, dance classes, aerobics, computer games, videos, toys, board games. Baby-sitting services are available at a nominal charge, advance reservation is required.
