Bood test taken at resort $50 fee results ready in 24 hours
Divorce Decree if divorced prior
tourist ID card you get at the airport when you arrive in Mexico (don't lose it)
name, nationalities, addresses, occupations of 4 witnesses
arrive 3 days prior to wedding to meet with wedding coordinator and submit documents
We have been notified that effective as of January 1, 2007 all wedding couples getting civilly married in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico these include Cancun, Riviera Mayan, Playacar, Cozumel ect.... are now required by the civil registry department to bring a certified copy of birth certificates with an Apostille or Authentication document attached. It is important that all couples contact their Secretary of state in order to obtain the required document.
