We travel north through beautiful countryside to spend an evening in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa and visit the magnificent ruins at Copan. Crossing into Guatemala we watch the sun set behind Lake Atitlan's volcanoes, and stroll along the cobble-stone streets of colonial Antigua. Try a host of optional activities at the secluded ranch of Finca Ixobel or take the opportunity to kick back and relax, maybe enjoy a dip in their natural, spring-fed swimming hole. Visit the great Mayan city of Tikal in the Guatemalan jungle home amazing ruins and wildlife. Travel onto the turquoise Caribbean coastline for a week of fun on beautiful white sandy beaches, including the Afro- Caribbean island of Caye Caulker in Belize – a visit to the famous Blue Hole must surely be on your list. The tour concludes in the town of Playa del Carmen, which sits on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.

We hike through the Monteverde Cloud forest in search of the elusive Quetzal bird, then relax with the sloths and monkeys on the beaches of Manual Antonio National Park. Turning northwards, we travel through Nicaragua and Honduras; learn surfing in San Juan del Sur, hike volcanoes on the island of Ometepe, explore the markets of Granada, and appreciate the architecture of Copan an ancient ruins built by the Maya. We then cross into Guatemala and enjoy the colonial town of Antigua and relax by the shores of Lake Atitlan. Go caving, horse-riding and clamber through waterfalls at Finca Ixobel. Then visit the great Mayan city of Tikal, hidden deep in the Guatemalan jungle where howler monkeys hang out in the tree tops. Finally, we head to those white sandy beaches of the Caribbean starting with the slow pace of life on Caye Caulker in Belize where the snorkeling is fantastic. Our tour ends in the party town of Playa del Carmen in Mexico.

Then we cross into Mexico and the Riviera Maya, spending time in Playa del Carmen and the island of Isla Mujeres. Crossing the Yucatan Peninsula we make our way across Mexico, learning about the amazing history, cuisine, music and people of this fascinating country.

On the Caribbean side we visit Cahuita National Park and watch Green Sea Turtles nesting (seasonal) in Tortuguero National Park. Then over to the Pacific side stopping at the town of La Fortuna at the base of active Volcano Arenal, a great place to do white water rafting, trekking and soaking in the local hot springs.
