10-Night Tours

Leaping Lemurs, Tribes & Islands from $2825pp
Our Madagascar Family Adventure gives you ample opportunities to see and experience the unique wildlife living on this Indian Ocean Island, the fourth largest island in the world. Most famous amongst its wildlife is the Lemur. We start our tour in the bustling capital city Antananarivo, (better known as Tana), and visit a Reptile Farm on our way to Andasibe Reserve. Here we go on a night walk in search of lemurs and other nocturnal animals, and in the day look for Indri Indri, the largest lemurs on the island as well as colourful chameleons. Then there is a walk through an orchid park, a visit to a typical Betsimisaraka Village, giving us the chance to interact with one of the local tribes, as well as a trip to Lemur Island. We fly to Nosy Be and spend time on Sakatia Island, a tropical paradise fringed by spectacular coral reefs, with options to snorkel, sea kayak, or just relax on the stunning beach. There is even a day trip to Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve famous for its snorkeling and diving, before we return to Tana at the end of our adventure.

Please note that the child price is only applicable for children under 12 sharing a room with 2 adults, with a maximum of 1 child per room. If children are in a separate room, or if 1 child is sharing with only 1 adult, then the adult price applies.

Please note that bookings may incur a supplement for the included flights depending on flight availability at time of booking. Once booked, the flights are non-changeable, non-transferable and non-refundable.

This tour also allows plenty of time for history and culture. Visit a Betsimisaraka village and gaze in awe at the UNESCO sight of Rova Ambohimanga in Arabic and French influenced Antananarivo. The tour starts and ends in Antananarivo, or ‘Tana’ as it is more commonly known, with excellent flight connections to Johannesburg.

Madagascar Explored from $3510pp
The Indian Ocean Island of Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world. From the bustling capital Antananarivo, we fly to Nosy Be and from there sail around the islands in the warm waters off Madagascar in a traditional dhow boat. Explore peaceful islands, snorkel over colourful coral and maybe swim with whale sharks. Enjoy some kayaking, fishing and relaxing on unspoilt beaches - this is the ultimate paradise. By day, cruise the blue-green waters of the sun drenched Indian Ocean and at night camp on the islands. Back in Antananarivo we head to the Special Reserve of Andasibe. Here we go on a night walk, search for the Indri Indri, the largest lemurs on the island, discover the many species dwelling in the forest, and visit Lemur Island. Our adventure ends back in the capital, known as the "City of Thousands".
