Climb Africa's highest mountain via the stunningly beautiful Rongai Route, the least demanding and less crowded alternative. The trek follows the gentlest, more remote northern slopes and allows the most gradual acclimatisation, coupled with the chance to see wildlife on the lower slopes. The ascent to the summit is still arduous, but rewarded with the dawn view over glaciers and across the East Africa plains. We look for leopards in Tarangire National Park, before continuing to the Serengeti National Park, home to lions, zebras, gazelles, impala, buffalos and many more animals. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the world, with over 30,000 animals and you may even see black rhinos. Our next stop is Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, so keep your eyes peeled!
