This 23 day tour takes you from Costa Rica to Mexico, exploring Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and Belize along the way. We begin our adventure in San Jose, and head north to the gorgeous pacific beaches of San Juan del Sur in the relatively undiscovered Nicaragua. Climb volcanoes on Ometepe Island in Lake Nicaragua and enjoy the colonial feel of Granada. We travel north through beautiful countryside to spend an evening in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa and visit the magnificent ruins at Copan. Crossing into Guatemala we watch the sun set behind Lake Atitlan's volcanoes, and stroll along the cobble-stone streets of colonial Antigua. Try a host of optional activities at the secluded ranch of Finca Ixobel or take the opportunity to kick back and relax, maybe enjoy a dip in their natural, spring-fed swimming hole. Visit the great Mayan city of Tikal in the Guatemalan jungle home amazing ruins and wildlife. Travel onto the turquoise Caribbean coastline for a week of fun on beautiful white sandy beaches, including the Afro- Caribbean island of Caye Caulker in Belize – a visit to the famous Blue Hole must surely be on your list. The tour concludes in the town of Playa del Carmen, which sits on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.
