Arrive in Rome, Italy. Time to rest or to start exploring the “Eternal City.” At 5 pm meet your Tour Director and get acquainted with your traveling companions. Then, enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel. (D) |

Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & Colosseum. Sightseeing with your Local Guide starts with a visit to the VATICAN MUSEUMS and SISTINE CHAPEL, world famous for Michelangelo’s ceiling paintings and The Last Judgement, before continuing to monumental ST. PETER’S SQUARE and BASILICA. Today you will also visit the imposing COLOSSEUM, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World®. Learn about life as a gladiator and get a FAMILY PICTURE WITH A GLADIATOR (if available). Your Tour Director will have suggestions for evening optional excursions. (B) |

Renaissance Florence, the Famous David & Pizza Party Lunch. Travel to Florence, the splendid capital of Tuscany and “Cradle of the Renaissance.” Your Local Guide will take you to visit the ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS with Michelangelo’s celebrated David. Then, admire the magnificent cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise,” and visit sculpture-studded SIGNORIA SQUARE. Enjoy an included festive PIZZA PARTY LUNCH at a local restaurant, where a chef demonstrates just how Italian pizzas are made! Later, drive to the famous Tuscan spa town of Montecatini, where your hotel is located. (B,L,D) |

See Pisa’s Leaning Tower & Taste Italian Gelato. Visit Pisa to admire the cathedral, the baptistry on Campo dei Miracoli, and take pictures of the amazing Leaning Tower, 180 feet high and no less than 12 feet out of the perpendicular. Return to Montecatini and enjoy a homemade GELATO at a typical gelateria. Time to relax at the pool or to check out medieval Montecatini Alto. Cruise Venice’s Canals & Discover the Bridge of Sighs. Drive across the Apennine Hills and through the plains of the mighty River Po to Venice. Enter the city in style by PRIVATE BOAT to meet your Local Guide. Highlights of your walking tour are ST. MARK’S SQUARE and its BASILICA, the Clock Tower, lavish DOGES’ PALACE and the BRIDGE OF SIGHS, where doomed prisoners caught their final glimpse of the world. (B) |

Create Your Own Venetian Mask & Enjoy a Gondola Ride. Enjoy the unique experience of decorating your own VENETIAN CARNIVAL MASK at an authentic Venetian workshop. When you are satisfied with your artistic endeavors, use the included vaporetto ticket to return to the hotel or find a cozy trattoria for lunch. In the early evening admire Venice's bridges and canals while being serenaded by live music on your included GONDOLA RIDE, then a festive farewell dinner on picturesque Burano Island, famous for its lace-making and colorful houses.
