London & Paris: A Tale Of Two Cities
Spend a magnificent week in London and Paris with your family! Start with three overnights in London as well as sightseeing with a Local Guide of the major sights and a “flight” on the London Eye for stunning views of the city. There’s also plenty of free time for independent sightseeing. Next, an exciting ride on the high-speed Eurostar train whisks you to Paris for another three nights. Cheers, London! Time at leisure today to rest before your adventure begins, or you may choose to set out on your own to discover London. At 6 pm your Tour Director will meet you and your family for some activities to help you get acquainted with your traveling companions, followed by a special welcome dinner at your hotel. (D) |

Discover London & Ride the London Eye. Join your Local Guide for a memorable morning of sightseeing that includes all the famous landmarks: the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall’s mounted horseguards and the Prime Minister’s Downing Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham Palace. A special highlight is a “flight” on the LONDON EYE, the world’s tallest observation wheel with stunning views of the city. The afternoon is free. Tonight, why not take in one of London’s West End theater shows? (B) |

Explore London. The whole day is free for independent sightseeing. Consider Madame Tussauds or the infamous London Dungeon. Optional suggestions: either a full-day tour taking in Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath or perhaps an afternoon visit to the Tower of London. This evening, maybe dinner followed by a cruise on the River Thames? (B) |

Cross Under the Channel & Visit the Top of the Eiffel Tower. Board the high-speed EUROSTAR TRAIN to Paris. Upon arrival, ride the elevators to the TOP OF THE EIFFEL TOWER and enjoy spectacular views of the city. This evening, why not take an excursion to Montmartre, where artists such as Dali, Monet, and Van Gogh worked? (B) |

Discover the “City of Light” & Visit Notre Dame. This morning, tour the world capital of chic and style with a Local Guide and admire its most famous sights: the Opéra, Arc de Triomphe, and Champs-Elysées. Visit NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL, where Napoleon was crowned emperor in 1804. Balance of the day is at leisure for an optional excursion to the famous Louvre Museum, where you can admire da Vinci’s Mona Lisa or take a cruise on the River Seine and delight in spectacular views of the Parisian monuments. Explore Paris. Spend the entire day exploring on your own. Your Tour Director will have some suggestions for optional excursions, such as King Louis XIV’s beautiful Palace of Versailles.
