Italy At Leisure

Italy appeals to the heart and soul of every traveler—with its historical significance and extraordinary beauty. It inspires a sense of romance, excitement, creativity, and amazing cuisine. It’s a country with a more relaxed lifestyle, and on this tour, you’ll explore Italy at a leisurely pace.

Three nights in Rome and Venice give you the opportunity to see their must-see sights and free time to explore these amazing cities at your own pace. Be sure to throw a coin in Rome’s Trevi Fountain, as legend states you’ll return to Rome if you do that. Savor a meal at one of the cafés or restaurants in the Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most much-loved squares, and admire Bernini’s fountains. In Venice, relax at a café in St. Mark’s Square, where you can people-watch, enjoy a drink, and listen to musicians. Or visit Italy’s oldest café, Caffé Florian, opened in 1720.

Three nights in Siena, Italy’s best-preserved medieval town, afford you the chance to travel to nearby Florence as well as San Gimignano, a small Tuscan town famous for its medieval towers built by the patrician families who controlled the town in the Middle Ages. While in Siena, enjoy a true Italian highlight—an olive oil tasting!

Italy can satisfy even the most discerning traveler, and this leisurely tour allows you to experience its history, gastronomic delights, and architectural treasures—a vacation of a lifetime!

At Globus, we design our journeys around the stories that they will tell. What story will you discover next?
